The lakeside picnic areas and children’s play area offers the ideal place to bring a ball or frisbee, play with the children. Come and enjoy a family picnic and take in the wonderful surroundings, whilst watching the excitement of people water skiing. For those of you wanting even more
excitement, why not have a go yourself or take a banana boat ride.

With ample car parking and on-site refreshments, it all adds up to a memorable day or days out, whatever your age, whatever your interest. But don’t just take our word for it, come and sample the Gosfield Lake experience for yourself.

Gosfield lake is situated 40 miles north of London, between Braintree and Halstead, in Essex. Easily accessible from the A12 or M11. 20 minutes from Stansted Airport.

Forrest Foods serving hot/cold food and beverages offers the ultimate in Alfresco dining. Open throughout the Summer. Picnics are welcomed at Gosfield Lake so why not come along with your own picnic, sit by the lake and enjoy the surrounding.
